Kinesiology: The Beginning

In the early 1960's George Goodheart, an American chiropractor, discovered that, in testing muscle response, a weak muscle could be instantly strengthened by rubbing reflex points on the body called Chapman's reflexes (neuro-lymphatics).

He soon realised that each muscle shared an energy circuit with a specific organ and its associated meridian. The status of muscle response gave him an accurate guide as to where there were energetic imbalances in the body.

Kinesiology encompasses acupuncture, nutrition and various other established healing systems to make the corrections needed. Applied Kinesiology has evolved over the last 40 years in a thorough and exhaustive testing regime. Although the concept of muscle testing is remarkably simple, it has revolutionised the thinking behind natural therapeutics.

In the hands of a trained professional, much detailed information can be coaxed from the person being tested without the aid of costly laboratory tests. Classical Kinesiology is causing a wide amount of interest because of its ability to determine the specific needs of the individual, and therefore producing successful results.
